Description : What does this product represent?

It was a common practice among the Vikings to wear amulets with religious symbols that invoked the power of the gods.

By far the most popular of these symbols was Mjolnir, Thor's Hammer. More than twice as many Mjolnir symbols survive in the archaeological record than all other amulets combined.

Mjolnir is also the only symbol that continued to be used well into the Christian period as a symbol of continued allegiance to the Norse gods.

It was a potent symbol of protection, and Thor wielded his hammer to protect both Asgard and Midgard from the chaotic forces of the giants.

For a warrior, it was also a symbol of aspiration, as Thor was the ideal warrior.

This striking bronze Mjolnir pendant is based on genuine pieces worn by the Vikings themselves. It is decorated with elongated and swirling animal figures in genuine Norse style.

This is the perfect amulet of protection for a modern Viking warrior.
