Description : What does this product represent?

The wolf is a potent symbol of power and danger in the Viking world.

The most famous Viking wolf was Fenrir, one of the children of Loki. This mighty wolf is destined to kill Odin himself during Ragnarok.

But Fenrir is not the only wolf from the Viking world. His two children, Skoll and Hati, chase the sun and moon through the sky every day and are destined to catch and devour them at Ragnarok.

The giantess Angrboda could shapeshift into a wolf and was the leader of the wolf pack.

Odin himself also had two wolf companions, Geri (ravenous) and Freki (greed), who accompanied him everywhere.

Perhaps it is these two wolves that best represent the power of this animal for the Vikings. They were a source of strength for Odin, but also a power to be controlled and respected.

This distinctive wolf head ring celebrates this raw, carnal power.
