Description : What does this product represent?

The Vikings carried many different types of weapons, such as axes and spears, but the most prized among them was the sword. Only warriors of repute, often those with wealth from successful raids or the gratitude of a king, could afford a sword. Among these, the Ulfberht was the best.

Made between the 9th and 11th centuries, Ulfberht swords were a transitional weapon between the earlier Viking sword and the later high medieval knight's sword. These swords were highly prized and often marked with the name "Ulfberht" by their manufacturers. More than 170 Ulfberht swords have been found across Viking Europe, testifying to their significance.

This handcrafted bronze pendant pays homage to the legendary Ulfberht sword, a symbol of the strongest and bravest Viking warriors. Wearing this pendant invokes the spirit, courage, and bravery of those elite warriors who stood out even among their courageous brothers.
