Description : What does this product represent?

This beautiful necklace is composed of three pendants and several beads, all inspired by pieces found at the Vårby hoard in the Mälaren valley of central Sweden, dating back to the 10th century.

The central pendant, crafted in Borre-style, features intertwined symmetrical snakes or griffins, a common motif in Scandinavian art. The other two main pendants also showcase intricate zoomorphic forms in the same style.

All the beads used in this necklace draw inspiration from granulated and filigree designs, frequently found in archaeological sites and also at Vårby.

To offer a high-quality piece at a reasonable price, this pendant is made of silver plated bronze and mounted on a simple thread.
